Brunch is the new “it” meal. Bevies of woman love it and line cooks can’t stand it . No matter how you may feel, Nashville brunch is here to stay. This boom has most definitely been noticed in Nashville with brunch now available not only on Sundays, but Saturdays. Del Frisco’s Grille, located in the Nashville Gulch area right off Demonbreun Street is a new player to the Brunch game. Located on prime real estate on the corner of Demonbreun and 12th Avenue South, with floor to ceiling windows, the bar beckoned to me like an island oasis.

My two soon-to-be friends were beaming from behind the bar: bartenders Fred and Elegance. Let me cut to the chase: these two have the all the right stuff and you, Nashville brunch lovers, need to know about them.

The White Peach Sangria caught my eye first. It’s a pristine concoction of Pinot Grigio, Peach Schnapps, White Peach Puree and a homemade Peach Popsicle with bits of peach scattered throughout the pop. This drink said Brunch Bitch! No matter the weather, this cocktail sets the tone and sets it right. Del Frisco’s not only blessed us with a white sangria but an equally tempting red sangria and? Wait for it… it comes in a carafe…. Yes . Can you say bridal shower #squadgoals ? YES, BABY! I wish I had bought a smoothie straw , because the sangria is summer is a glass. It was as if I was biting into a freshly ripe peach that had just spent the perfect amount of time on the window sill.
