These 5 Nashville Happy Hours will never disappoint

These 5 Nashville Happy Hours will never disappoint

The Sutler is a live music venue in the Melrose area.  This 2 story venue has a dining room, bar and music stage on the main floor and this is called the  Saloon. Now  if you look straight ahead and turn your head 35 degrees to the left you will see a red light. No, it doesn’t lead to a legalized peep show and neither is it the entryway for platform 9 ¾. It is the entrance to the Cellar . One of the coolest and most unexpected bars in Nashville.  Add happy hour and you have a win win situation.
Happy Hour – 3:00pm to 7:00pm. In the Salon and 5pm – 7pm in the Cellar Includes 1/2 off signature cocktails, 1/2 off draft beer, and 1/2 off glasses of wine.

DarfonsMonday – Saturday 3 PM – 6 PM

If anyone ever wanted proof that Nashville is growing, here it is. This not the Darfons I remember from 10 years ago. The happy hour at Darfons was surprising with craft cocktails that changes seasonally and local beers on top. Not only are the cocktails MINDBLOWING but its  so close to the airport, it is now a scheduled stop for all of my flights now.  A go to for business travelers and also Nashvillians who live in Donaldson , Antioch and those that may not want to pay the airport prices for a pre-travel cocktail. They have changed the game with inventive and seasonal cocktails like

FALL TEA – 6  bourbon / house chai syrup / apple juice / bitters

This cocktail is exactly what you want when the daytime temps start to drop and you are ready to unwind the stress of the workday from your mind.  Bourbon and Chai are the antithesis of coffee and cream

FRENCH 75 – 6

gin / champagne / simple syrup / lemon juice

Family Wash– Happy hour from 4pm to 7pm Monday through Friday  featuring half off all beer, wine, cocktails,  and liquor

At the time of this post, everything behind the Family Wash bar is half off. That includes labels like Angles Envy, Cosair, Bellmede Burbon , Pickers Vodka.  Not to mention the dozen  beers on tap and their signature cocktails on tap also like the Blackbird (bourbon, Dolin Rouge, Amargo, whiskey bitters and blackberry) and Rita May (Tequila, Hibiscus, Ginger, Agave and Lime).  This is our pick for the number 1 happyhour in Nashville. Not only is it 4 to 7 but you can get a top shelf craft cocktail for $5  a martini for as little as $4, wine for $4 a glass and beer for $2.50. Anything your creative mind can come up with is Half off  4-7 Monday through Friday. ANYTHING …………..Listen LINDA ! ANYTHING
